How to Create a New PST file in outlook
Reason for creation: Showing the error message in outlook - your mailbox is full
Follow the below steps
- Select File Menu
- Select Account Setting Menu
- Select Data Files Menu
- Select Add Menu
- Select D:\PST folder ( Save in D Drive only )
- Rename the new file name and save
- Select new PST file and then select OK
- Appear below 2 PST files, next select close option
- Restart the Outlook application
- Select new PST file and then select Set as Default
- Appear 2 PST files in outlook
- Open Inbox from old PST file, then select inbox items and select move and select other folder
- Next appear New PST File which is created new
- Select PST file – inbox/sent items which you move your files (select same folder)
- After finish moving or Copying your files in new PST follow below steps
Select File Menu – Account settings – Data Files – Select Old PST - set as default
